VH1 will air an exclusive special, “A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving,” at 9 p.m. ET/PT Nov. 27 with live performances by some of the biggest names in music, including Paul McCartney, the network announced in a press release on Nov. 17. In addition to McCartney, the network said the special will feature music by Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Elton John, Metallica, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Mumford & Sons, Jack White and more.

The special is tied in with next year’s festival ticket pre-sale, which begins at noon ET on Nov. 28. The annual four-day, multi-stage camping festival will take place from June 11-14, 2015.

On his website Nov. 18, McCartney also announced a contest to give musicians in the UK the chance to attend a songwriting class at a secret location in London where McCartney will discuss the composing of his new song “Hope For the Future,” which was written for the recently released “Destiny” video game. The session will take place Nov. 19.

To enter for a chance to attend, register at Impossible.com and create a wish saying what musical instruments you play along with the hashtag #iamamusician. Winners will be contacted by Impossible.com and will need to bring along photo ID to be admitted.

The British Invasion Tour 2015, featuring former Paul McCartney and Wings member Denny Laine, Peter Asher, Chad & Jeremy, Billy J. Kramer, Mike Pender’s Searchers and Hollies member Terry Sylvester, will begin Feb. 22 in at City Winery in New York City, according to a press announcement. The 10 new concerts, which continue through March 8, will also stop in Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New York State, Virginia, Ohio, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
