Jerry Hoban, a veteran celebrity impersonator known for his portrayal of Ed Sullivan and who often was seen on stage with Beatles tribute bands, has died, according to a statement May 28 from the Beatles tribute group the Fab Four, with whom he appeared for many years. “Our great friend, Jerry Hoban, talented entertainer in his own right, passed away yesterday. He will be missed by his Fab Four family, and all the tens of thousands of people he made smile and laugh over the 15 years he’s been part of our team.” The group said he’d been with them since the beginning.
