Paul McCartney Liverpool ECHO arena tickets sold out in a “phenomenal” presale, ahead of the official release tomorrow.

Beatles legend Paul McCartney is making his return to Liverpool with his Out There tour on Thursday, May 28.

And after a “phenomenal” presale sell out today, the ECHO arena are expecting the same from their official ticket sale which goes live from 10am on Monday, March 9.

A spokesperson from the ECHO arena said: “The presale was phenonmenal.

“Although the site did not crash, we had thousands trying to get a presale ticket.”

McCartney’s one-off gig in May will see thousands attempting to bag a ticket, after all tickets via the priority/presale option sold out.

A representative for the ECHO arena added: “We know we have the hottest tickets in town.”

“It’s Paul McCartney, it’s Liverpool. Everyone wants to see Paul McCartney in Liverpool. There is a huge demand for tickets.”

For this event tickets will NOT available at TicketQuarter in Queen Square.

Tickets start from £71.50 including booking fees. Orders subject to £2.25 handling fees. Other tickets are £88.50 and £135.
