In the Jan. 10 Billboard charts released publicly Jan. 1, the Beatles are solid proof of a Dec. 31 report by Billboard that vinyl sales weren’t lagging in 2014 and, in fact, hit new highs. The Vinyl Albums chart shows three Beatles discs in the chart’s 25 places, topped by “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” at #5. Also listed are “Revolver” at #8 and “The Beatles (White Album)” at #21.


On the Soundtracks Albums chart also for Jan. 10, “Let It Be” is at #19, up from #22 the previous week. “Magical Mystery Tour” is at #23, up from #25 the previous week. “A Hard Day’s Night” re-entered the chart at #24.
