The Who to release 1982 Shea Stadium show from last tour with Kenney Jones….by Steve Marinucci

The Who and Eagle Rock Entertainment announced April 30 the release of “The Who: Live At Shea Stadium 1982,” the first official offering of the full show by Roger DaltreyPete Townshend and John Entwistle and drummer Kenney Jones coming this June. The show will be released for the first time on DVD, Blu-ray and digital video on June 30. The concert features restored video footage and newly mixed audio sound, the company said.

The tour was to promote the 1982 album “It’s Hard” and included several tracks from it, such as “It’s Hard,” “It’s Your Turn,” “Dangerous” and “Eminence Front,” some of which the band would only play live on this tour. The set list also included classics like “Pinball Wizard” and “See Me Feel Me” from the rock opera “Tommy,” “My Generation,” “Substitute,” “Who Are You,” “I Can’t Explain,” “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” It also included an encore of ….click here to read the rest of the story
