John Lennon’s Lyrics Next To Beethoven’s!

John Lennon thinking his thoughts

Lennon’s Lyrics in UK National Museum

(2013) John Winston Lennon’s hand-written song lyrics are now on display at the British Library in London.

Visitors can see these scraps of paper displayed next to historical artifacts from Beethoven, Shakespeare and the Magna Carta!

Less than two weeks ago, Hunter Davies, the only official Beatles biographer, donated a handful of rare Beatles song manuscripts and Lennon letters to the institution as part of a “cultural gifts plan.”

Lyric sheets include “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “She Said She Said” and “In My Life.”
