It was 50 years ago today that the Beatles really took over the American music charts and radio airwaves. On this day in 1964 the Lads owned all of the Top 5 slots on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart! The Beatles also had seven other songs peppering the Hot 100 for a total of 12 Beatles songs on that week’s Chart! That same week, they also held the two top spots on Billboard’s Albums Chart with Meet The Beatles and Introducing The Beatles. By the way, these US chart records have never been broken. Check out the chart to see the history making event and to bring back some great memories for many!
