Beatles Cover Songs (BCS)

Shawn Colvin sings a Beatles song you'll never forget

Shawn Colvin’s version of “I’ll Be Back” puts a whole new spin on this quiet, “howl from the soul” of a Beatles song. Producer George Martin included it as the last tune on the “Hard Day’s Night” soundtrack.

Written mostly by John, it’s a preview of the more mature, introspective songs the Fab Four will create in future albums.

You’ll find this version on a website devoted to imaginative covers of songs you probably know. Sweet!
